But for long games say 1hr + , anyone can take more then 5min's for a move...so it would be unfair to lose the game on time..yeah i can understand few losers stop moving when they r losing in long games..but there is an option in the game window itself frm where u can report against such player..n i'm sure chesscube admin will take necessary action

No.. Chess shouldn’t be part of this organized show of doped people, they will strip Anand or Kramnik bare naked in search of that micro-transmitter. We can’t allow such abysmal things to be done to our heroes.

err..my chess story

umm...one day i saw two boyz doin something wid a checkered board and some black n white "ugly" pieces (i was jus 5 yr old ! )
so i jus asked them "what is this?" then the word came into my lyf "CHESS"
then i went home asked mommy "i want to play that black white game" mom said "its called chess dear"

and after that she taught me everything like " a knight is a knight not a horse ! lolol " and other tactics

thats my chess story (hope its not boring )
 



lol yeah i used to call rook "haanthi" bishop "unth"..when i started playing in cc i finally came to knw knight n rook

Who first introduced you to chess and showed you how to play? Did you ask to be taught, or did your 'teacher' instigate the lesson? Did chess appeal to you immediately or did it take you a while to get fully hooked?

Also, have you ever taught anyone else to play chess? (Friends, family, or do you even teach chess in your spare time?)

I was taught to play by my father when I was 6 years old. He wasn't really a chess player, but he knew the basic moves.. but chess never intrested me...and then I completely gave up to concentrate on studies .

so....people please share ur chess story .
